« Musique au Jardin »

On Saturday 6th AUGUST, a festive moment in the heart of our beautiful garden: We’re honoured to welcome GITCHÉ MANITO for a gypsy jazz concert starting at 6 pm! In the morning, our shop is open as usual from 9-12am. In the afternoon we’re open from 3-6pm. Our buvette with refreshments opens also at 3pm.

GITCHÉ MANITO are a young gypsy jazz quartet based in the Morvan. Composed of two guitars, a violin, a double bass and four voices, the band navigates between swing, gypsy jazz, chanson, Eastern music and waltz.

Gitché Manito has been successful on the local Burgundy scene and has a festive atmosphere. Their repertoire is coloured by Emmanuel & Julien’s guitars, which respond to each other in turn and combine to underline the flights of Oliver’s violin.

Violin: Olivier Pornin
Guitars: Emmanuel Pornin, Julien Tombois
Contrabass: Martin Février

We look forward to seeing you there!

Discovery workshops 2022

« Medicinal plants in the garden »

A few generations ago, country people used to treat their everyday ailments with plants from their own garden, or those they went to find nearby. In their cupboards, a few bottles were enough for coughs, stomach aches, headaches, rheumatism, etc. …. During this discovery workshop, you will meet some of these plants with their many virtues, and you concoct a remedy to take home with you.
